The handmade pendant lamp made of wool and wood from the 6020 design line by ALMUT von Wildheim pays homage to down-to-earth design, the Tyrolean cultural landscape and traditional craftsmanship.

The wool grows virtually on our doorstep and comes from Tyrolean mountain and stone sheep, which live on the high pastures of the Ötztal. These sheep not only contribute to the preservation of our alpine cultural landscape, but also provide high-quality wool, which is known for its exceptional robustness and durability.

The fiber structure of the wool not only ensures improved room acoustics thanks to its sound-absorbing effect, but also better indoor air quality. The high bio-reactivity of wool makes it possible to bind and neutralize odours and pollutants from the air. In addition, wool is naturally flame-retardant and allergy-friendly, making it a safe and pleasant material for use in living spaces.

The wool is supported by a lampshade frame made of 100% wood, which is carefully manufactured and processed in Innsbruck, in the heart of the Alps. This not only gives our lamps a warm and natural aesthetic, but also underlines our connection with nature.

ALMUT von Wildheim stands for regional production, short transportation routes, use of local materials, durability and energy efficiency. The components can also be replaced if necessary. Recycled and recyclable packaging and climate-neutral shipping round off the sustainable concept.
