ALMUT stands for longevity and the right to repair.

To the lights.

Recycling is a solution to recover the resources of a product. But why recycle and thus destroy a product if only part of it is defective? When something breaks, repair should therefore be preferred to recycling.

Durability and right to repair are at the top of the list of requirements for the product characteristics of ALMUT von Wildheim.

To the lights.

The luminaires impress permanently with their extraordinary natural materials and are processed regionally to a high standard with special craftsmanship skills. ALMUT uses regional materials, procures prefabricated components from local suppliers and the assembling takes place on site in Tyrol.

A durable product impresses with a sophisticated, individual and timeless design. Nature is timeless and the simple design of the luminaires by ALMUT puts the natural materials in the foreground.

3. modularity.

To the lights.

ALMUT takes another approach to extending the life of the luminaire, modularity. This refers to the manufacture of products with a limited number of standardised and easily dismantled components that can be easily replaced or combined into new products. The disassembly and replacement of components happens simply by dispensing with adhesives or hazardous materials. This opens up a whole new field, "active disassembly".
