These designer lamps are handmade from tumbled wool from Tyrolean sheep. The natural material creates a cozy atmosphere and a better living climate. The luminaire design is understated and minimalist, allowing the natural materials to come into their own.

These lamps are made of pure wool. And wool needs no chemicals. Thanks to its natural fiber properties, the material is durable, robust and improves the indoor climate and acoustics. And best of all, it is sustainable and grows back again and again.

Our decision to use wool as a central design element is based on its origin and the outstanding properties of the fiber. The new wool from the Tyrolean mountain and stone sheep comes from the Ötztal, where around 400 sheep farmers supply the natural fiber that ALMUT uses to produce sustainable design lamps. Sheep also play a key role in preserving and maintaining our beautiful Alpine cultural landscape.
